Assign a driver and vehicle
How to assign a driver and vehicle to an order in Pending / Unassigned status
When to use this
Once an order is in Accepted without an assigned driver, the dispatcher needs to attach a driver and a vehicle. On the main dashboard, the Unassigned counter shows how many orders still need attention.
Steps
1. Open the orders list
Menu: Operations → Orders.
2. Pick the order
Click an order row to open its detail view. From there you can attach a driver and vehicle.
3. Choose a vehicle from the fleet
Vehicles live under Fleet → Vehicles (/admin/vehicles):
Each vehicle shows:
- Name — model
- Seats — capacity
- License Plate
- Kilometers — current odometer
- Status — Available / Unavailable
4. Status after assignment
The order moves from Accepted to Assigned, and shows up in the In Progress counter once the ride starts.
Tips
- Available vehicles only — pick rows in Available status
- Capacity match — confirm seat count fits the passenger count
